DISQUALIFYING RULES
SAY Web Awards

After you read all the criteria, please read through these disqualifying rules. Below is a list of items that would qualify your site for disqualification. Please note that if your site is changed after an award is given out that would thus disqualify you (based on these rules), your site will be removed from our winners list, and you MUST remove our award from your site.

1. Pornography, "adult pages", nudity of any form, violence, profane language, Satanism, occultism, discrimination and extremism of any kind or anything else that might be offensive to others or links to such sites.

2. Illegal activities and activities such as the distribution of passwords, warez, serial numbers, cracks, cheats (also for games), "bandwidth stealing".

3. No part of the site is "under construction", including statements such as "coming soon" unless it is contained to only portions of the site, and don't deter from the visit.

4. Infringement on the copyright / trademarks of others, plagiarism. Unauthorized fan sites.

5. Error messages as well as sites that cause crashing. "Fault on Page" message. We don't want to see any '404' pages.

6. Pop-ups that require input or extensive use of pop-ups.

7. Forced automatic downloads of any kind. (Not including standard programs like Flash plug-in, Real Audio, etc.)

8. Sites that force the browser to full screen mode (without the bars at the top), unless an escape to return to normal viewing and proper navigation is provided.

9. A disabled right mouse click or disabled Ctrl and Alt keys. If you are concerned about people stealing your work, just know that this will not stop them at all. It does, however prevent SAY Web Awards from viewing your code with ease and denies us the ability to properly critique your site.

10. A second re-application within the 90 days waiting period after the first application. Unless specific permission has been given or a suffecient explination is provided.

If your site does not include any of the above items, you may continue on to the Code of Ethics or go back to the Criteria.
