There are 4 awards available: Excellence, Gold, Merit, and Design

Excellence AwardThe Excellence Award:

This award is given out to only the very best of the best. A "WOW" factor is a must for your site to achieve this prestigious award, and it will not be given out unless ALL criteria is met AND we say "WOW" when visiting the site.

Note: Just because you receive all 100 points, it doesn't mean you will receive this award. Also note, the design award will not be given out to those sites achieving the Excellence Award based on the idea that if you were awarded the Excellence Award, you would automatically be above and beyond even the Design Award, however, if you are awarded the Excellence Award and you would still like the Design Award to display on your site, you are more than welcome to.

Gold AwardThe Gold Award:

This award is the most sought after SAY Web Award given out. Only those sites receiving a score of 90 - 100 points qualify for this award. Do not feel badly if you cannot achieve this award, for it is not simple to receive. Reapplication for an upgrade is acceptable after 90 days of your original application, or if a new award is available for a new year.

Merit AwardThe Merit Award:

This award is the most common award given out by SAY Web Awards. Only those sites receiving a score of 75 - 89 points qualify for this award. This award was created for those sites that don't reach our hightest standards, but were enjoyable to visit. Reapplication for an upgrade is acceptable after 90 days of your original application, or if a new award is available for a new year.

Design AwardThe Design Award:

This is additional award available to those sites that received 90+ points. It is designed to award sites with an additional "WOW" factor in graphic design and layout. You may apply for this award along with the others, however even if you do not, and the evaluator feels that you are worthy of this additional award, it will still be offered to you.

Note: The design award will not be given out to those sites achieving the Excellence Award based on the idea that if you were awarded the Excellence Award, you would automatically be above and beyond even the Design Award, however, if you are awarded the Excellence Award and you would still like the Design Award to display on your site, you are more than welcome to.
